Homemade Copycat Shamrock Shake (Printable Version)

Creamy green shake with vanilla ice cream, peppermint, and whipped cream for a cool refreshing treat.

# What You Need:

→ Ice Cream Base

01 - 2 cups vanilla ice cream, preferably full-fat
02 - 1 cup whole milk, or 2% for lighter consistency

→ Flavorings

03 - 1/2 teaspoon pure peppermint extract
04 - 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
05 - 4-6 drops green food coloring

→ Optional Toppings

06 - Whipped cream
07 - Maraschino cherries
08 - Green sprinkles

# Directions:

01 - Combine vanilla ice cream, milk, peppermint extract, vanilla extract, and green food coloring in a blender container.
02 - Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy, approximately 30-60 seconds. Add additional milk 1 tablespoon at a time if thinner consistency is preferred.
03 - Taste the mixture and add more peppermint extract if desired, being cautious as extract is potent. Add additional food coloring drop by drop until vibrant green color is achieved.
04 - Pour evenly into two tall glasses. Top with whipped cream, maraschino cherry, and green sprinkles if desired. Serve immediately while cold.
